Matthew Kanagy previously served as the Vice President of Digital & Demand Marketing at Stryker, a Fortune 500 medical device company. In this role he oversaw both domestic and international demand generation efforts for the Vocera solutions. Previously, Mr. Kanagy served as the Vice President of Digital & Demand Marketing at Vocera Communications until the companies acquisition by Stryker (NYSE: SYK) in 2022. These roles included oversight of an internationally based marketing team executing digital marketing, sales development, event marketing and field marketing.
Previously Mr. Kanagy served as the Vice President of Operations at Vocera Ease. In this role Mr. Kanagy oversaw operations, product development and marketing for the Vocera Communications portfolio of solutions focused on improving the hospital experience for patients and families.
Formerly as COO of EASE Applications, Mr. Kanagy led the rapid growth of a communication solution built to make anxiety filled waiting rooms a thing of the past. The Ease solution allows families to receive text, photo and video updates on the status of loved ones in a safe, secure and convenient way. Mr. Kanagy served as COO of EASE Applications until the companies acquisition by Vocera Communications (NYSE: VCRA) in 2020.
Prior to joining EASE Applications, Mr. Kanagy served as the Director of Digital Marketing for the international hospitality brand, Earl Enterprises. While at Earl Enterprises, Mr. Kanagy oversaw the digital marketing strategy for multiple restaurant brands with locations across the globe. Previously, Mr. Kanagy served as the Senior Manager of Marketing & Digital Operations at AdventHealth, one of the largest hospital systems in the United States. While at AdventHealth, Mr. Kanagy managed digital and print marketing strategy, video production and event AV production.
Mr. Kanagy has earned multiple awards throughout healthcare and consumer spaces. Notable awards include the Earl Enterprises Top Performer, Model of Excellence Award for AdventHealth and multiple awards in healthcare video production and website design. Mr. Kanagy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Media from the University of Central Florida and Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida Executive/Professional Graduate School.
